Had to redo Initiate 100 #1

Hello all, I had to redo the last problem set, but that's alright, because the power to do so is coded in! Haha! The program isn't pretty, and its not click and drag (you have to type in the move in short pgn format, with checks, mates, takes, etc (i.e. Qxf6#) ). While that was because I didn't want to program a click and drag system, it also appears to be turning out for the best, because my board skills are improving as a result.

You don't know how many times I have missed a problem, though, because if my inability to know f from g, the place that I seem to have the most column problems (e, f, and g, sometimes). Also, 6 and 7, when trying to put in data quickly, seem to give me problems when recording games. Here is my current status:

The (2) on intermediate will stand for the number of times I had to do that file, with (1) assumed otherwise.

Moving along... this is day #13 in my current circle set, and I am trying to make sure that I have tons of time for the 3 advanced files. Given that 25% completion (250 problems) should be done in 3 days from now, I think that I am doing alright.

I am also rereading Silmans book "Reassess your Chess", and I am finding myself following games far easier already, and I REALLY REALLY think it's because I have to type in all of these moves, rather than just clicking and dragging the pieces. This is also helpful because I want to make sure I write down all of my games.

On another note, my buddy who is running the new Marysville Chess Club is a 1750 @ POGO.com. I don't know how that compares to what, but against him I am +1 -1 =0. He is excellent tactically, nailing down forks and tricky business with ease.

Hello, all,

I need to get in contact with all the people interested with my program, certainly, and I'm sorry that I haven't yet. First, I didn't understand the moderate comments portion of the app, and next, I've been super busy with my 360 page, where I received some recognition by the development community.

OK, then, I will try to contact the people that have asked (if you are one of the first five on the previous post, then you know who you are, and can email me). I will have to make users for you on the system, and that won't be difficult.

I've been playing a lot of chess, whether over the board or with computers, and I'll post some soon, and DG, feel free to add me back on, after the development time that I put into PGN parsing, I don't think that I'll be quitting anytime soon.

Well, Hello...

Long time, no post. One of the major reasons that I quit working on chess was that I could find no decent over the board players. This time has ended. There is now a Marysville Chess Club (kind of) that consists of myself, a 10 year old, his dad, and Roy, who started up the club. I am ready to start up my circles again, but now I have a secret weapon...

I have written an online program to do the seven circles!!!

That's right, it's completely written and I am using it now to do my work. It has an .htaccess login system for use, and a complex and difficult scoring system. I have limited space on the server that it's on, but, hey, if any of you are interested in checking it out, I will give access to the first five people who ask.

That being said, it is definitely not perfect, but hey, it's really quite good, if I do say so myself. Well, here is my current state, and wish me luck (btw, I am one week into the program.
